The mood among performers and fans alike was exuberant at the Country Cares concert at Tim's Toyota Center Monday.

Headliner Dierks Bentley, followed David Nail, Randy Houser and The Band Perry in the fundraiser benefitting the families of 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots who perished in the Yarnell Hill Fire June 30.

Bentley's first-ever performance of "Here On Earth" and a special version of "Home" with a bagpipe intro by the Rural Metro Pipe and Drum Corps were some of the evening's highlights.

Surviving Hotshot Brendon McDonough was on hand to draw raffle ticket winners and receive a special Heroes medallion. Many fans bought commemorative T-shirts, and a live auction for a Fender-donated guitar netted $50,000 after Bentley offered his own Fender to satisfy both top bidders.

He was presented an oversized check for $422,252.27 representing the night's proceeds, and yesterday, The Green Room publicity revealed the event netted more than $476,000.
