Anyone interested in running for a school board governing position in any Yavapai County district is welcome to attend election training next week. Elections will take place Nov. 4, 2014.

The training, sponsored by the Yavapai County Education Service Agency, provides details for getting one's name on the ballot, filing a Statement of Organization and collecting nomination petitions.

Potential board members will be able to file their statement and begin collecting petitions at the training session they attend.

Training takes place at three locations on three days.
