Mortimer Family Farms hosted thousands of people through the month of October for its Pumpkin Festival and corn maze. People came from all over the state to enjoy the music, food, games, maze and to pick their own pumpkins. The Farm will finish out the month with a Halloween Haunted House, corn maze and laser tag on Wednsday, Oct. 31, 2012. Heidi Dahms Foster shot these photos of the final weekend.

Sean Valenzuela of Dewey gets a little corn wisdom from Farmer Buzz Fournier during the last weekend of the Mortimer Family Farms' Pumpkin Festival.

The Farm will be open from 5-10 p.m. this evening for Haunted House, Corn Maze and Laser Tag activities.

Thank-You Mortimer Family Farms! You've given our community a fantastic year of festivals and entertainment. All consistent with the small town values that Dewey-Humboldt holds so dear. Sad to say, some people in our Town (and on our very own Council) had such a limited vision of the possibilities all they could see was another housing development. Your commitment to Arizona's County Town is very much appreciated.

Congratulations to Heidi, the Mortimer Family and all connected to the pumpkin fest and amazing corn maze. The strides that were accomplished in 2 short years are a welcomed addition to our communities and a tribute to a task well done. Am anxious to see what we have to celebrate next year, as the group decides what else can be done for us to enjoy. Thank you Char and Gary, for a great October.
