Balloons carry aspirations of Bradshaw's freshmen aloft
Freshmen in the GEAR UP program at Bradshaw Mountain High School worked on identifying their future dreams, then inscribed those aspirations on balloons and sent them flying Sept. 23 during National GEAR UP Week.

Prescott Valley Charter Schools added a new building to its schools that will house Prescott Valley High School students in grades 9-12. The new building stands across Lorna Lane from the other classrooms containing kindergarten through eighth-grade students.

Student Council members at Bradshaw Mountain Middle School have formed a partnership with Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary and have brought the relationship closer with the adoption of the Sanctuary's young bear, Augustus. Fittingly, BMMS's mascot is the Bruin.

Intensive reading, writing program helps 200 K-3rd-grade students
