Data collecting tells forestry experts about trees
The team, which included ASFD and University of Arizona personnel and volunteers, gathered at 8 a.m. for orientation and then worked from 8:45 to 11 a.m. collecting data and tagging the trees along the frontage of Mountain Valley Park along Loos Drive for the Town of Prescott Valley.

The trees in Fain Park are just beginning to turn, striking a delicate balance between bold greens and light yellows.

It's still a little early for the trees to offer brilliant colors, but the cooler weather certainly makes it worthwhile to visit the 100-acre park and enjoy fishing, hiking and site seeing.
