Tip-A-Lioness event is Thursday
Special to the Tribune

The Prescott Noon Lioness has a Tip-A-Lioness event twice a year to benefit a local charity.

On Thursday, April 10, the ladies will be your waitresses at the Golden Corral, 1901 E. Highway 69, in the Frontier Shopping Center from 5 to 8 p.m. All tips will go to the Arizona Women's Education and Employment.

Representatives from AWEE will be present to provide information about the charity and will have handouts to explain how they serve the community.

They have a local office at 805 Whipple St. and serve the tri-city area.

Although they originated to help the women of Arizona reenter or improve their employment skills, they have expanded to offer help to others. Your donations to AWEE provides hope and opportunity to women, men, veterans, mature workers and young adults. Your support will make a difference in a life, a family and your community.

Their goal: "Providing someone with the opportunity to earn dignity through work is giving them the power to change their lives and the lives of those they love."

Today, April 9, is ARIZONA GIVES DAY, but the 10th counts too; take this opportunity to support your community. Look for the Ladies in Purple and tip generously.
