The Blue Rose Heritage and Culture Center of Prescott Valley presents one show only of the trio, OK Chorale, with songs and stories of the Old West at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24. Tickets are $8 for members; advance tickets for $10; or $15 at the door.

"I first heard them back when I was doing the Folk Music Festival for the (Sharlot Hall) Museum," said Jody Drake, founder of the Blue Rose. "They are fun and dedicated to their music. They're all retired professional men. I like them because they sprinkle in a lot of Arizona history."

Trio members are "Yodel'n Al" Fossenkemper, "Jingel'n Jud" Schandel and "Tumbleweed Tony" Pistilli. Over the years the Chorale's reputation and success spread throughout the Southwest.

Bob Boze Bell, who has performed with the group on many occasions, said, "The OK Chorale's clever and entertaining approach to Western history, especially Arizona's colorful past, is truly unique."

Call 928-227-2737 for more information. Visit www.theokchorale.com to hear samples of the group's music.
