JC & Laney appear Sunday at Blue Rose

Folk Americana duo JC & Laney will perform at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, at the Blue Rose Heritage and Cultural Center, 7200 2nd Street, Prescott Valley.

JC Scott was brought up on Long Island, NY, and cut his teeth playing acoustic guitar during the heyday of the folk scene in Greenwich Village. He recorded with musicians Arlo Guthrie, Lindsay Buckingham, Kenny Loggins, and Weird Al, to name a few. His songs are performed by folksingers across the U.S.

Laney Greynolds sang pure country and gospel starting age 5. She joined a barbershop quartet at 18, and has been recording, performing and fronting rock bands since 1988.

Tickets are $8 for Blue Rose members and $10 for general public. Tickets and information: 928-277-2737.
