Take day trips with Prescott Valley Parks & Rec

Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation department offers day trips to The Hoover Dam, Tonto Natural Bridge and Strawberry, Ariz. and Snowbowl Scenic Lift Ride and Diablo Burger.

The Hoover Dam is a day of fun, starting with lunch at world famous Coffee Cup Restaurant, then tour the dam's power plant and passageways. The cost is $65 and includes the entrance fees, lunch and dinner, snacks and transportation. Leave from the PV Civic Center at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 26, and return at 8 p.m. Meet in the Civic Center parking lot. Pre-registration for all trips is required. one week before the trip date.

The Tonto Natural Bridge and Strawberry, Ariz., trip is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 16. The cost is $40 and includes lunch, entrance fees, snacks and transportation. Meet at the Civic Center parking lot.

Snowbowl Scenic Lift Ride and Diablo Burger is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22. The cost is $45 and includes lift tickets and lunch. Meet in the Civic Center parking lot. Head to the top of Arizona via the Scenic Lift Ride at Snowbowl Resort. Lunch will be at Diablo Burger Restaurant in Flagstaff with time after to explore the historic downtown area.
