Halloween Candy Massacre


The Arizona Business League is sponsoring the first annual Halloween Candy Massacre from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Tim's Toyota Center parking lot in Prescott Valley.

The free event is a safe trick-or-treating opportunity where local businesses hand out candy to children.

Come in costume and visit the Haunted House and attractions on site from Freedom Station.

Businesses do not have to be an ABL member to participate in the free event. For more information call Jody at 928-499-9928.

Safe Trick or Treat

Prescott Valley Early Bird Lions and the Town of Prescott Valley will conduct a safe Trick or Treat at the Prescott Valley Public Library from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 31. Business folks will set up and hand out candy. PV Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a pumpkin carving contest.

No charge to businesses or trick-or-treaters. Call Bev at 772-8857 for more information or to sign up a business.

Mortimer Farms Corn Maze, Haunted House, Laser Tag

Mortimer Family Farms 10-acre Corn Maze will be open through Oct. 31. The Maze, Laser Tag and Haunted House will be open every Friday 5-10 p.m., Saturday 10-10 p.m., Sunday 10-5 p.m. and Halloween week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-10 p.m.

Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Festival

Mortimer Family Farms Pumpkin Festival will run through Oct. 28. Free admission, parking and live entertainment. Weekly festival activities include U-Pick Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze, Haunted House, "Behind the Tractor" Farmer Buzz tour, bounce houses, laser tag arena, water tag, Euro Bungee, mutton bustin', pony rides, face painting, glitter tattoos, Element Hair Gallery, climbing wall, Bubble Run, corn bath, barrel train, food and craft vendors, hay rides, Dewey/Humboldt Historical Society display, Farm Animal Kingdom, apple cider, fall decor and more. Halloween Extravaganza

PV United Methodist Church's free Halloween Extravaganza starts with Trunk or Treating in the parking lot, 8944 E. Sommer Dr., Prescott Valley, at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28. Event includes free pumpkins, treats, pumpkin painting, and a hot dog barbecue at 11:30 a.m.
