The Walk to End Alzheimer's, an annual nationwide event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research, begins at 9 a.m. on the Prescott Courthouse Plaza on Saturday, Oct. 6. The two lap, 3-mile walk begins on the north side of the Downtown Courthouse Plaza and winds throughout the surrounding roads. This route is scenic, paved, and wheelchair accessible.
Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.
Although there is no registration fee for this event, all walkers are encouraged to make a personal donation and raise money for the cause. Raise $100 or more and receive a 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer's® T-shirt.
