2/13/2013 12:09:00 PM Letter: Car wash attendant went above and beyond
I would like it known the experience I had recently at Blue Wave Car Wash on Highway 69 in Prescott Valley.
I had completed the car wash and was busy vacuuming my car when I inadvertently sucked up my son's ring, which had considerable sentimental value.
Horrified, I asked the attendant, Joe Bressel, if there was anything that could be done to retrieve the ring. Another customer agreed to wait to vacuum her car as he shut the vacuum down to look for it. Unable to find it, Joe told me that he would look again that night when they were closing and again on Sunday if they hadn't found it.
That night I was heartened when I received a call from Joe explaining that he had found the ring and would hold it for me until I was able to pick it up.
The fine customer service I received was obvious, but the honesty, in my opinion, needs to be extolled.
