Letter: New residents should bring their own water

Editor:

Today I read your article about the Glassford Heights Subdivision, a 3,500-unit Masterplanned Community.

I have lived in this area for almost 29 years and watched the rains get less and less, as does our almost non-existent water level.

I have no problem with this new development as long as the new residents bring their own water for them to use from anywhere but the state of Arizona.

I completly agree with Ms Kurgan. What on earth are you people thinking? Oh...my bad...thinking does not occur on our town council...just sold out to a developer did ya...I thought after the last few years we all saw the problems with a construction based economy...now ya all are thrilled to brbg more people to use our paper water....
Good job thinking of the citizens of this town....and no I am not for no growth...Just reasonable growth....that includes the realities of water here...or perhaps we could say the water we have left....
