Letter: Dewey-Humboldt Cowboy Poets event was a great success

The Dewey-Humboldt Historical Society would like to thank all who attended the June 21 to 23 Cowboy Poets and story Telling Museum fund raising event.

This fun filled event could not have taken place without the help of the performers, Frieda Eswonia, Jon and Jon-Alan Martin, Lynn Phippen, Janice King Deardorff, Jim Dunham and the Rusty Pistols, Tony Argento, Sue Harris, Juni Fisher, Belinda Gail, Peggy Malone, Slim Farnsworth, Broken Chair Band, Deanna Dickerson McCall, Don Fernwalt, Jessica Hedges, Suzi Killman, Mike Dunn, Greg LaCosse, Lyle Suttill, Deb Bukala, Vic Anderson, Terry Nash, Jim Jones, John Bergstrom, Mountain Saddle Band, Joe Briggs, Amy Hale Auker, and Gail Steiger. who came to support our cause and promised to come back again next year.

We also would like to thank the community who came and helped support the event, the volunteers, Pastor Harrington, Evely Shaw, Mortimer Farms, Cowboy Mine Productions, Principal Cole Young from the Humboldt school, Helen Henderson, Holly Bear Press, Pincon Creek Photography, Scoopz and many, many more supporters.

There was something going on all weekend for the whole family and great night time entertainment. We hope to see everyone back again next year and also some new faces. We also wish to thank J.P. for all you did, we could not have done this without you.
