I wanted to take a minute to publicly recognize the kind and thoughtful gesture of a staff member at YRMC in Prescott Valley on Friday, Sept. 14.
While I was in the middle of a 12-hour shift during the middle of the night, I took a short break and headed down to the cafeteria to get something to eat. After ordering my food, I went to pay and found that neither my debit nor my credit card would be accepted since their machines were down. Before I was able to cancel my food order, a staff member willingly stepped in and offered to pay for my meal at his request. I was not able to get his name or really thank him for what he had done, so now I want to say thank you, it was a thoughtful gesture on your part.
All the times I have ever worked my shift at YRMC, I have always noticed how everyone there is always kind and cheerful. They never seem to have a dull moment, but are always going about their duties with smiles on their faces. It is nice to see how those who don't get much respect in their profession always seem to be happy to help others in need, regardless of how they may be treated in return. So until next time, thank you for your cheerful and kind hearts and making my work nights more enjoyable.
