Girls' soccer loses 3-0 on the road

Cheryl Hartz
News Editor

The Bradshaw Mountain High girls' soccer team opened the season with great control of the ball, except in getting it into the goal. The result on Tuesday, Nov. 20, after the trek to Page, was a 3-0 loss for the Lady Bears.

"We dominated the game - possessions were probably 70 to 30 - but we just couldn't find the back of the net," Bradshaw's new head coach John Sterling said.

For several years, the Lady Bears have fielded a young team, but this year's squad features 11 seniors, 6 juniors and a freshman.

They will continue with road games to Mingus and Sedona this week, and play host to Mingus in the season's home opener on Tuesday, Dec. 4, when JV starts at 3 p.m. and varsity at 5 p.m.
