Any competition between the Bradshaw Mountain Bears and the Prescott Badgers promises excitement and entertainment. Now the cross-town rivals are teaming up to "Box Out Breast Cancer" by facing off on the basketball court.

The Bradshaw Mountain and Prescott High School Booster Clubs, in conjunction with Yavapai Regional Medical Center BreastCare Center will present a daylong 6-game basketball extravaganza from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.

The event begins with freshmen girls' basketball at noon. Freshmen boys play at 1:30 p.m.; Junior Varsity girls at 3 p.m.; JV boys at 4:30 p.m.; Varsity girls at 6 p.m.; and Varsity boys at 8 p.m. These are not exhibition games, but Arizona Interscholastic Association-sanctioned competitions that count in standings and records.

Taking place throughout the day will be raffles, a silent auction, music and singing from BMHS and PHS marching bands and show choirs, dance by Summer's Dance Works and The Dance Studio students, and gymnastics demonstrations by Flip City Gymnastics.

Admission is $10/adult and $6/child 13 and under. Proceeds go to YRMC Breast Care Center and the two high schools' basketball programs.
