Scottsdale Saguaro 63

Bradshaw Mountain will head into the postseason on a high note after scoring a season-high 77 points in this victory over Saguaro Friday night in Scottsdale.

Five Bears scored in double figures, including Kasen Lynch, DJ Gonzales and Gilbert Ibarra, who had 16 points each, and Trevor Judd and Brandon Taylor, who netted 10 points apiece.

"It was a nice way to end the season," Bradshaw coach Doug Beilfuss said. "We played really well offensively."

BMHS (14-13 overall record) moves on to battle Prescott High in the semifinals of the Division 2, Section 1 tournament next Wednesday.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m. inside Walraven Gym on the campus of Yavapai College in Prescott.

On Friday, the game's venue was moved from Sinagua Middle School in Flagstaff to YC at the request of Bradshaw Mountain and Prescott high schools' athletic directors.

"This is really good for our communities and our teams," Beilfuss said of the site switch. "This is special for both teams."

The winner of the section semifinal will advance to the section championship against No. 1 seed Flagstaff High at 7 p.m. next Saturday at Sinagua Middle School.
