In Prescott Valley, the undersized Bears played Dysart close, but once again couldn't overcome their unforced errors en route to this setback.

Bradshaw Mountain trailed 13-7 at the end of the first, 24-18 at halftime and 35-31 at the end of the third before the Demons pulled away in the waning moments.

DJ Gonzales led BMHS in scoring with 19 points, while Trevor Judd had 11 points. Kasen Lynch added seven.

Bears coach Doug Beilfuss said his team's turnovers, which resulted in several buckets for Dysart, and its poor short-range shooting percentage cost it a chance at a victory.

"We're so close to getting over that hump," he said. "But we've got to be mentally tougher."

Division 2 No. 52-ranked BMHS (3-6 record in power-point games), which lost for the second straight night Friday, will host Tempe Marcos de Niza at 7 p.m. next Tuesday.
