Early Friday morning, after four men spent nearly 120 hours 30 feet up in 5x8-foot scissor lift, the Arizona Sundogs surpassed phase one of their new season ticket goal by selling 302 tickets.

The quartet - Sundogs owner and managing partner Brad Fain, general manager Chris Presson, marketing and public relations director Lew Rees and team captain Jason Morgan - entered the lift at noon on Sunday at the intersection of Highway 69 and Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley, and energized by their success, remained until noon Friday to mark exactly five days in the air during their "Whatever it Takes" campaign.

The men ate, slept and worked in the lift, coming down only for scheduled bathroom breaks. So, understandably tired and disheveled, they looked forward to hot showers and warm beds again.

"We are so excited and grateful for everyone who came out and purchased their season tickets," Presson said. "We never imagined the type of coverage this campaign would receive and are still amazed. The support of the town and people from around the world is tremendous and we couldn't have been as successful, without them."

Fain said the organization's ultimate goal is to sell 800 tickets for the 2013-2014 season.

"The team needs the communities to pull together and fill the house. There is no better entertainment value in Northern Arizona than an Arizona Sundogs game," Fain said.
