Bradshaw Mountain saw its four-game winning streak end Tuesday night at D-2 No. 8-ranked Flagstaff High.

Bears coach Doug Beilfuss said that the Eagles scored at least 10 points off his team's turnovers in the first half and went on to win the rebounding battle in the second half.

BMHS trailed Flagstaff 31-23 at halftime and 35-29 midway through the third period before the wheels fell off. By the start of the fourth quarter, the Bears were behind 49-31 and couldn't recover.

"They were quite a bit bigger," Beilfuss said, "and we shot too many perimeter shots."

Gilbert Ibarra guided Bradshaw offensively with 13 points. Trevor Judd and DJ Gonzales followed with nine points each.

The Bears (7-8 record in power-point games, 3-1 in section) welcome in Prescott at 7 p.m. Friday. That contest will likely help determine two of the top three seeds into the sectional tournament next month, Beilfuss said.
