Bradshaw Mtn. boys 58

Flagstaff Coconino 48

The Bears now own an unblemished 3-0 record in Division 2, Section 1 after this 10-point victory over Flagstaff Coconino on the road.

Bradshaw (12-11 overall record, 7-7 in power-point games) led the Panthers by as many as 19 points in the fourth quarter and weren't truly threatened in this one.

BMHS led 12-7 at the end of the first period, 28-19 at halftime and 41-30 at the conclusion of the third en route to the win.

DJ Gonzales and Trevor Judd paced the visitors in the scoring column with 14 points each. Gilbert Ibarra (11 points), Kasen Lynch (9 points) and Brandon Taylor (6 points) chipped in, too.

Perhaps most importantly, the Bears went 22-of-29 from the free-throw line.

"It was an all-around good team effort," Bradshaw coach Doug Beilfuss said. "I'm really proud of the guys."

Bradshaw will face its stiffest test of the section portion of the schedule at 7 p.m. Tuesday when they visit D-2 No. 9 Flagstaff High.
