The Bradshaw Mountain boys' soccer squad warmed up for the 8-team Alliance tournament it hosts annually with Prescott by blanking Mingus Union 3-0 at home this past Tuesday. They closed out the busy week with a third place finish in the tourney.

Tuesday, the Bears got goals from sophomores Randy Ayala and Kenneth Castro, with another from senior captain Saul Martinez sandwiched in between.

Thursday in the Bracket A Alliance nightcap, Camelback shut out Bradshaw 2-0. The Bears roared back Friday in a 3-1 win over Mohave.

Bradshaw managed the same winning score over Peoria Saturday at mid-day, with Enrique Meza contributing all three goals.

Late that afternoon, the Bears edged Kellis, 6-5, for third place overall.

Camelback garnered the 3-1 championship victory over Flagstaff.

The Bears played Mingus in Cottonwood yesterday after the Tribune's press time, and will host Glendale at 6 p.m. tomorrow in the final home game of 2012. They head for Flagstaff Monday, and have three more road games through Jan. 8, with the next home game not until Jan. 11 against Prescott.
