Obituary: Jennifer Moore

Jennifer Moore, 45, passed away early Tuesday morning, Jan. 29.

She worked at Acorn Montessori for many years and wore many different hats during her time there, jumping in anywhere she was needed. Jennifer always had a smile and a hug for every student or staff member. She was a military wife and very proud of her husband, Dale, who served several tours of duty in Iraq.

Services are Saturday, Feb. 2, at Prescott Valley Church of the Nazarene with viewing at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m. The church is hosting a reception after the service. She is being buried in Williams, Ariz.

An account is set up through Wells Fargo Bank for Jennifer's children, Petra, 18, and Justus, 16. Ask for the Jennifer Moore Memorial Fund.

I am so sad to be reading about this. Jen was such a great woman who cared deeply for everyone around her. I knew Jen when I was just a little kiddo myself (her and my sister were friends during high school) and when my daughter began going to Acorn that is how I got reconnected.

Jen was always smiling and always so helpful. I remember when Donna needed a dress for a "formal" dance, Jen talked to me about ones she had and was willing to let Donna borrow any of them for the occasion - even alter them if needed!! That is just one of many great things Jen did for us.

I'm truly sorry to you, her family that must deal with how to go on now. I'm just so shocked and deeply saddened that someone so special had to leave us so soon. Our thoughts are with you.

It still seems so unreal. Jen will be missed by many. As life goes by fast and you never know what your last words will be to anyone. So always say I love you. May God be with this family now in their time of need.
Rest in peace Jen see you again someday.

As I couldn't speak through my tears on Saturday during the service. I want to say she was more then someone who worked for Acorn Montessori School. She was a great friend to a lot of us especially me she would come by or call me just to talk and had I known that two weeks before she passed would be the last time I would have spoke to her I wish the conversation was a lot longer then it was. Even over the phone you could see she had that wonderful smile of hers. I don't think she ever left home without it. At the end of our conversation she said I love you girl. And for me to take care. I told her the same thing back.
May you rest in peace and I will see you again my old friend. You are a hero as Dale's song said. And when the hole in my heart heals I will remember all the fun times but for now I'm just numb. Dale, Petra and Justus remember Mrs, G is here for you when ever you need me.
