Special to the Tribune

County Supervisor A.G. "Chip" Davis presented the Unsung Hero award to Clyde Neville on Nov. 7.

Tamee Niekamp and Shana Burton nominated Clyde; both had the pleasure of working with Clyde through the Lonesome Valley Playhouse where he volunteers as director and set designer for many of the plays. His favorite to work with is the Children's Theater. He loves to watch the children come alive and tries to instill in them the Boy Scout motto.

Clyde's time is not only spent playing around. He serves on the Prescott Area Arts and Humanities Council, Boys and Girls Club Northern Arizona Board of Directors, has worked with the Yavapai County Community Restitution Crew, and was instrumental in getting Stepping Stones off and running.

In his spare time, he volunteers helping organizations fill out the paper work to get their non-profit 501C3 status.

Clyde never expects anything from anyone but is always the first to volunteer to make things happen.

Tamee and Shana both agree that he is incredible.
