Prescott Valley American Legion Post 140 has three Commanders.

Post Commander Richard Imburgia, shown above at right, recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from the National Commander James E. Koutz, and American Legion District 8 Commander Sherrie Mercier, center, presents the certificate to Imburgia as VFW District Commander Fred Nelson looks on at left.

It is believed that Post 140 is the only area Post to ever have both District Commanders for the American Legion and the VFW as members. Post 140 recently has achieved over 200 percent of its membership goals and it's still growing.

Post 140 recently established its American Legion Riders and is now in the process of starting a Ladies Auxiliary. The Ladies Auxiliary will work toward the Aims and Purposes of the American Legion, while they help our local Veterans and their families. Interested ladies of all ages are welcome to call Betty at 928-772-2535 for eligibility and information.
