The widening project on State Route 89A Spur, also known as Fain Road, will receive its final construction work in the form of pavement striping and the installation of recessed pavement markers, two tasks that are expected to take two weeks to complete, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
SR 89A Spur (Fain Road) will be narrowed to one lane in each direction through the project area starting Monday, June 17. Work will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, until Friday, June 28. No delays are expected.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
